Pack Light, Pack Right
After hundreds of nights above 2,000 metres, our camp crew has this down to a science. Here is what actually matters.
The Non-Negotiables
- Layered clothing — fleece plus windproof shell beats one thick jacket
- Headlamp with spare batteries (phone torches die fast in the cold)
- Sleeping bag rated for sub-zero if camping above Triund
- Power bank — cold drains batteries faster than usage does
Nice to Have
- Thermos flask — hot chai tastes 200% better at altitude
- Playing cards for tent-side evenings
- Camera with a charged battery for star trails
Join a guided Himalayan camping trip and we handle tents, sleeping bags, meals and bonfire — you just bring the layers.
